oddDuck.com is a website that lets you post links that you like, find really cool new websites and stuff, and share them with your friends and random people you come across online.

There's really not a good reason to, lord knows we all have too many logins to sites that we never use. But if you like what other are posting here, or if you have a blog or site of your own that you'd like to promote, then posting it on oddDuck is a guaranteed way to ensure that tens and even elevens of people will find your site.

No. Well, we might if you post something really gross, obscense, illegal or anything like that. We may be immature here, but we're still adults and many of us surf this site from work.

We're a bit anti social here so things work a bit differently. If you like what someone posts, then you can add them to your circle by clicking on their name. Once in your circle, you can send them messages and view their posts (basically make your own customized duck).

Likewise, if someone adds you, they become a fan and can see what you post.

That means that someone else posted the same link earlier, so you can't add it again because that would be repetitive and redundant. However, you can still add the link to your profile by making it a favorite. Just click on the [fav] link.

The categories located at the top of each page are the first step in making sense of all the links we get. The category will tell you what kind of link is being posted. The tag is the adjective that describes the page you're linking to. The description lets you provide some commentary as to what's going on.
